Royal Garden Hotel
Procurement Management | Budget Oversight | FF&E Coordination | Lead Time & Delivery Monitoring
Overlooking Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, this iconic London hotel enjoys one of the city’s most privileged views. The design brief centred around this unique asset—framing the uninterrupted green vista through a calm, luxurious, and timeless interior palette befitting a 5-star destination.
Designed at Viewport.

Kensington, London

The hotel’s original modernist architecture by Colonel Seifert, with its rational layouts and full-width picture windows, provided a clean canvas. The updated interiors respect this simplicity while introducing warmth and tactile quality through considered materials and detailing. The result is a quiet sanctuary of oak herringbone flooring, raffia-wrapped panels, and tonal fabrics that sit elegantly against the natural backdrop.
In my role, I was responsible for procurement management across all FF&E packages, keeping the budget on track while closely monitoring lead times and coordinating delivery schedules to align with the construction programme. With a wide range of bespoke items—such as custom wool rugs, grey-stained oak joinery, and bronzed accents on mirrors and cabinetry—my focus was on ensuring quality and precision were maintained throughout the supply chain.
The guest experience was central to every decision, from the familiar and intuitive room layout to the layered textures and subtle lighting. Each space was designed to feel instantly comfortable yet elevated—offering understated luxury and a front-row seat to London’s most celebrated parkland.
